Position Title: ServiceNow IRM Architect
Location: 100% Remote
Job Type: W2 Contract only
Duration: Long term contract
Position Summary:
As a ServiceNow IRM Architect, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and deployment of Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive risk management frameworks, providing expertise in areas such as Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), audit management, vendor risk management, and policy and compliance management. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of ServiceNow and a strong understanding of risk management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Architect and design ServiceNow IRM solutions, including policy and compliance management, risk management, audit management, and vendor risk management modules.
- Platform Implementation: Lead the implementation and integration of the ServiceNow IRM modules, aligning solutions with business needs and risk management objectives.
- Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure the ServiceNow platform to meet specific client requirements, ensuring the effective integration of IRM workflows and processes.
- Risk Assessment Frameworks: Develop risk assessment frameworks and methodologies within ServiceNow, enabling efficient risk identification, monitoring, and mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their risk management needs and ensure the ServiceNow IRM solution is aligned with business objectives.
- Process Automation: Implement automated risk management processes and workflows using ServiceNow’s automation capabilities, reducing manual intervention and improving efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure that all solutions adhere to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. Provide recommendations for process improvements and compliance measures.
- Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to end users, risk teams, and administrators on how to effectively use the ServiceNow IRM platform.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow IRM, providing technical leadership and guidance on best practices, platform upgrades, and new feature adoption.
- Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate ServiceNow IRM with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and third-party risk management tools.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field. Advanced certifications in ServiceNow or risk management are a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk management, IT governance, compliance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform, specifically in GRC or IRM implementations.
- Proven track record of architecting and implementing ServiceNow IRM/GRC solutions for large-scale organizations.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk management, IT governance, compliance, or a related field.
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in GRC/IRM is required. Other ServiceNow certifications such as ServiceNow System Administrator, or ServiceNow Application Developer are preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, IRM/GRC modules, and ServiceNow Studio.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) and ServiceNow workflow automation.
- Knowledge of integration technologies (APIs, web services, etc.) for ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with IT risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, COSO, NIST).
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, IRM/GRC modules, and ServiceNow Studio.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other risk management tools or platforms.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) in ServiceNow.
