Job Descrition

•            Must have experience working with mainframe DB2 and SQL server databases, schemas, stored procedures & functions.

•            AT LEAST 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE POST DEGREE COMPLETION

•            Must have hands on experience with migrating databases to SQL server using SQL server migration assistant (SSMA).

•            Must have experience in converting databases & objects of monolithic applications to a microservice landscape.

•            Should have thorough knowledge and understanding of real-time CDC replication using tools like Qlik replicate or Precisely connect.

•            Should be capable of leading a team of data engineers to archive unused databases & file systems to low cost storage options on-prem or cloud.

•            Should be completely aware of the data security regulations within the healthcare industry like PHI/PII and design solutions accordingly.

•            Should have experience leading large scale data migration projects, understanding boundary system impacts, communicating promptly with all stakeholders and identifying risks/mitigation strategies.

•            Mentor a team of data engineers and lead them to achieve data migration milestones in a timely manner.

•            Candidate must be based out of US mainland (citizen, green card or work visas).
