Hiring - Java Developer with SRE, AWS (CloudWatch, Dynatrace, IAM) - Atlanta, GA (HYBRID)

Job Type: W2 Contract
Preferred Location:- Atlanta,GA Onsite Requirement: Hybrid model, 2-3 days a week onsite.
Must-Have / Required Skills:
- SRE with Java background
-Java Developer with focus in Security ( Cloudwatch, Dynatrace, IAM)
This SRE will help finish out AWS migration.
They will be an escalation point for security issues with java app integrations.
Must Haves / Required Skills:
- Prefers SREs with java dev background
- monitoring with Cloudwatch AND Dynatrace
- Sumo is a plus
- AWS IAM
-Gitlab CI preferred, Jenkins okay
- Maintain access control by using AWS security tools and services such as HSM (may show up as cloudHSM.... HSM is short for hardware security Modules)
- Preference for candidates with knowledge of load balancers, firewalls,
Skills / Experience That Are A Plus

Technical Requirements:
- Prefer SREs with a Java development background.
- Proficient in monitoring using CloudWatch and Dynatrace; Sumo Logic is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of AWS IAM.
- GitLab CI preferred; Jenkins is acceptable.
- Experience with AWS security tools and services such as HSM (Hardware Security Modules).
- Knowledge of load balancers and firewalls is preferred.
Additional Skills / Experience (Nice to Have):
- Experience maintaining data integrity and access control using AWS security tools and services.
- Familiarity with CloudFormation.
Role Duration and Compensation
Qualifications:
Required Skillset:
- Manage and optimize data streaming and API components in OpenShift On-premise and AWS.
- Proactively review and optimize application APIs and processes.
- Automate testing, delivery to production, and deployment.
- Develop integrations between on-premise applications, AWS, and third-party tools (ServiceNow, VersionOne, Sumo).
- Create SLI/SLOs with teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform performance issues, documenting solutions.
- Experiment with emerging technologies and complete prototypes.
- Design and develop CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure monitoring and alerting metrics for proactive issue resolution.
- Maintain data integrity and access control using AWS security tools.
- Monitor AWS billing, generate cost reports, and implement optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with enterprise security architects on data security measures.
- Regularly monitor and analyze platform capacity and performance.
- Develop and implement backup strategies for service restoration and disaster recovery.
- Provide input on design, performance, and security enhancements.
Desired Skillset:
- Deep understanding of AWS cloud platform operations.
- Proficient in automation, scripting, and monitoring with tools such as OpenShift, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Shell, Python.
- Technical knowledge of infrastructure layers: Linux OS, virtualization platforms, network, load balancers, firewalls, API tools, monitoring tools, storage, backup strategy.
- Experience in end-to-end operations for enterprise systems and applications.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Nexus).
- Familiarity with Software Release Management.
Desired Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years of related DevOps or SysOps engineering experience focused on major cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Minimum of 2+ years of application development experience, including data streaming and deploying/monitoring high availability critical application components.
- 1+ years in a Site Reliability Engineering organization is preferred
