Job Tittle:  AEM Developer

Job Type: W2 Contract

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: Long term contract

 

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as the primary platform.

2. Customize and extend AEM components, templates, and workflows to meet project requirements.

3. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and back-end developers to integrate AEM solutions seamlessly into web applications.

4. Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of AEM applications.

5. Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions to technical problems.

6. Stay updated on AEM best practices, tools, and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements.

7. Work closely with project managers to prioritize tasks and deliver projects on time and within budget.

8. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and standards.

9. Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures related to AEM development.

 

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as an AEM Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of AEM projects.

3. Proficiency in Java, JCR (Java Content Repository), and OSGi (Open Service Gateway Initiative) framework.

4. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.

5. Familiarity with RESTful web services and API integrations.

6. Strong understanding of web development principles, including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team environment.

9. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Adobe certification in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or related technologies.

2. Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, or other Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions.

3. Knowledge of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines and DevOps practices.

4. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
