Job Description
Our client is seeking a Financial Functional Consultant with prominent experience working in SAP ERP with a focus on Record to Report processes of GL, AP, AR, Credit Management, Product Costing. This position requires the ability to understand all process work streams including Order to cash, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and its integration with ERP systems. The consultant must have hands-on configuration experience.
Key Requirements
3+ years’ experience designing , building and deploying SAP solutions with focus on FI and/or CO
Perform system configuration and manual setup required to implement solution for the SAP GL, AP, AR, FA, and COPA functionality.
Must have data conversion experience from legacy system to SAP along with financial reconciliation which includes, Receivables, Payables and Inventory Reconciliation etc.
Completed 2 full life cycle implementation of core financial modules (GL/AP/AR/Inv/Costing/CM/Intercompany processes) on multi-Orgs, multi-currency setup on a manufacturing environment.
Must have experience of Integration with third party tax engine such as Vertex.
Must have experience setting new legal entity including the sub-ledger core configurations.
Strong documentation experience is required such as process narrative document which includes As-Is and To-Be. Identifying and categorizing business requirements into Map (fit into the existing process) and Gap (require customization) etc.
Must have experience running Testing cycles – SIT/UAT sessions Independently.
Must be capable of creating Test scripts and test scenarios.
Must have hands-on end to end flow along with the accounting transactions related to Order to Cash, Manufacturing and Procure to Pay track. Person should be willing to travel as and when needed.
Experience driving technical and functional designs towards simple, sustainable, and reusable solution is required.
Working experience with offshore and on-site teams will be an added advantage.
Experience with SAP Intercompany netting and clearing process and reporting is required
