Job Position: Azure Infra Ops Engineer   

Job Type: W2 Contract

Location: Berkeley heights, NJ

Duration: Long term contract

 You will assist in day-to-day tasks that are critical to our overall success. You will help in building out our cloud offering along with automating solutions, maintaining knowledgebase / run-books, troubleshooting, restoring service to applications, general assistance with projects, and provide after-hours support as necessary.

What you will need to have:
-Proven experience as an Infrastructure Operations Engineer and/or DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Azure-based infrastructure setup and management.
-Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using tools like Azure DevOps and GitLab.
-Familiarity with Azure services, including virtual machines, virtual networks, Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Front Door, Azure Application Gateway.
-Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
-Knowledge of Azure monitoring and alerting services like Azure Monitor, Azure Application Insights, Azure Sentinel, and Log Analytics. Should have experience in setting up operational dashboards.
-Strong understanding of security best practices for Azure deployments, including access controls, IAM, and data encryption.
-Must possess a solid understanding of Linux OS.
-Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
-Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
 

What would be great to have:
• A Bachelor’s Degree; Master's is preferred.
• Ability to configure Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Familiarity with FISMA HIGH, FedRAMP HIGH, and/or Zero Trust Architecture.
• Ideally possess at least AZ-104, AZ-204 and AZ-400 certifications.
