Hiring - Frontend Full stack Developer - Hybrid to Chicago

Client: Northern Trust 

Job Role: Frontend Fullstack Developer

Duration: 12 month contract 

Location; Hybrid to Chicago 

Description:

The Full Stack Developer is a curious, collaborative individual who leads with empathy, takes ownership of projects and:

* Contributes to an open culture that enables development through direct but kind feedback, promotes diverse perspectives and fosters a sense of curiosity and optimism

* Creating reusable and configurable components and template through a combination of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and Javascript via the React framework, Java and Adobe AEM

* Collaborates with product owners and architects in an agile environment, with a cross-functional team to understand technical needs and user requirements

Tasks & Responsibilities:

> Attending daily stand-up meetings

> Participating in weekly backlog grooming meetings to define requirements

> Providing estimates for stories as requested

> Present completed work at sprint demos

> Provide feedback and participate in sprint retros

> Develop working software that aligned with development best practices and business requirements

> Create software that meets accessibility requirements

> Create unit test cases that meeting code coverage requirements of 80%

> Debug issues and provide software solutions

> Support the other developers are needed

* Web Application Security, OWASP

* Comfortable mentoring fellow developers

* CSS 3 responsive design, CSS Preprocessors, CSS Animations
