Job Position: GCP Data Engineer

Job Type: W2 Contract

Location: Bentonville, AR

Duration: 6+ Months Contract 

GCP Data Engineers for a large migration from AZURE to GCP

Python, Spark, Sql, Big data, Hive, Hadoop, OOP, GCP, Azure, Cloud, ETL 

Top Skills Details

1.     Strong Programming skills in SQL and Python (Bash)

2.     Experience with Object Oriented Programming- They want the most efficient code.

3.     Experience in Big Data Platforms (e.g., Spark, Hadoop HDFS, Hive, BigQuery, Cloudera)

4.     Cloud Experience- GCP and/or Azure

5.     7+ Years of experience is required

Nice to have
ETL technologies (e.g., Airflow, Automic, SSIS, DataStage, etc) preferably with a OOP background

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1.     Knowledge about Microservices using Python is a plus.

2.     Experience with Object Oriented Programming-They want the most efficient code.

3.     5+ years of experience in SQL is a must.

4.     Prior experience in Google Big Query is a plus.

5.     5+ years of experience in collecting and interpreting data and Analyzing results.

6.     Identifying patterns and trends in data sets.

7.     5+ years of experience to analyze large datasets.

8.     3 + years of experience in building pipelines using PySpark.

9.     2 + years of experience on Big Data on Cloud (Azure or Google).

10.  2 + years of experience in cloud services like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS Gen2 or GCP Dataproc, GCS Buckets
