Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with expertise in MS SQL Server, SSRS, SQL programming, writing stored procedures, and proficiency in ETL. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database concepts, query optimization, and data modeling.

Responsibilities:

•           Align Sigmoid with key Client initiatives

o          Interface daily with customers across leading Fortune 500 companies to understand strategic requirements

•           Stay up-to-date on the latest technology to ensure the greatest ROI for customer & Sigmoid

o          Hands on coder with excellent understanding of SQL Programming.

o          Design and implement APIs, abstractions and integration patterns to solve challenging distributed computing problems

o          Experience in defining technical requirements, data extraction, data transformation, automating jobs, productionizing jobs, and exploring new technologies.

•           Facilitate in Technical Aspects

o          Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

o          Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies.

o          Create and maintain data models, ensuring data integrity, normalization, and performance.

o          Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

o          Conduct thorough testing and debugging of SQL code to ensure accuracy and reliability

o          Design and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources.

Qualifications:

•           6+ years track record of relevant work experience and a Computer Science or related technical discipline is required.

•           6+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.

•           Knowledge of other database systems such as Oracle or MySQL.

•           Familiarity with MongoDB, Tabloid and Power BI.

Preferred Qualification:

•           Experience in agile methodology

•           Certification in MS SQL Server or related technologies.

•           Experience with version control systems.

•           Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
